so i got motivated somewhat on monday and got the fenders retrimmed rolled and built some new mounts starting to look like a jeep again..

and got lucky enough to get off work early and sweet talked my dad into taking me over to the steel yard and scored a 74x32" piece of 3/16 and some 1.5" .120 wall HREW to finish up the boatsides. hopefully get back over next week and get some plate and tube to start redoing front bumper and possibly start exo

and of course with a full bottle of gas and a fresh roll of wire the welder went down but paid a visit to my buddy Jay(kaos Victim) got some 3/16 fuel line to run from the bottle to the welder tada fixed

Well James maybe you should check it in person.... Lol but yeah both ends will be capped and its not welded 100% only stitch welded 3 inch pass every 3 inches so drainage a non issue.

Just stumbled on your build looks great! had a couple questions for you, I'm over in Eagar and wondered where you were picking up the steel from? I haven't seen anyone in Show Low that carries anything! Also did you find your axels at one of the local junk yards or just find a donor truck?

im curious to see how that front end holds up, i read alot about that CAD dodge 60 and most seem to not like them.
do you lock it in only when you need it or keep it locked all the time?
when it is locked do you have trouble steering?
does it still have stock shafts in it?

looking good btw. i really like it.

Stock shafts as of now.. I can select the lock but when on the rocks usually its locked steering kinda sucks now but ordering my hydro steering in the next few days.. most likely when we gear it ill delete the CAD and put a long shaft in.. thanks for the likes its gettin there

any reason why you didnt build a real 3 link up front since you put all that work into it?

Only real reason was time crunch needed it back on the road and didn't have the time and cash to do the 3 link the way I wanted at the time prob end up doing it next winter cuz I wanna redo my crossmember a bit so then it will get addressed but the radius design the way it is works awesome for time being
