put jeep parts orders on hold to pick myself up a trailer.. now just need the tow pig to go in front of it.. My pops is nice enough to pull it for me in the meantime

got out finally for a shake down...jeep worked amazing.. only 2 down falls i had ordered a beefy yoke for the read D60 for 1310.. in prepare for my 14B i ordered a 1350 shaft so had to put a stocker 1350 yoke on my rear...well snapped 2 bolts and busted the straps out.. had my 1310 yoke and shaft 10 min fix.. and popped an inner bead on pass rear jacked it up and filled it reset bead all good carry on.all in all i was trying to break it and thats all that happened

Thanks it was good to get it out finally.. I actually had some issues with pitman bolt rubbing a bit so I just flipped the heim up top and gonna weld up a double shear style bracket on top seems to steer better on top.

little update decided to be a cool kid and pick myself up a 14B.. its almost all back together painted and new seals just gotta pack the wheel bearings and what not..



its not going in for a lil while got some other stuff up my sleeve.. work cut back my days that i work so my progress will be slowing down a lil bit

Pretty cool you got the ORS bumper. So what the deal with the off center 14 bolt truss or did you do it like that on purpose?

The pumpkin is off set to drivers side so the truss is centered over the pumpkin I will still be able to center my upper link mounts no problem

No I'm actually planning on back halfing it when the 14 goes in linking with air shocks.. but we will see how that goes

well finally fixed my crappy steerng radius since i went tons.. did some research and found a wj pitman has about an inch more throw than the xj and only has 2" drop so i ordered one up got it tossed in but found i needed to lenghthen my drag link with the new geometry.. dont like having much thread showing on my RE.. so sleeved my 1.5x.25 DOM with some 2x.25 DOM i had around.. over lapped about 4" on each side and burned in some rosettes and each side should be plenty strong and turning is awesome once again even with the front axled locked up (which is sweet)



also been thinking about pulling my headunit out for awhile ive never had an antenna hooked up and pretty sure a cd has never been in it basically just use my ipod.. sooo being as that i used to be a car audio installer for 5 years had some stuff laying around.. wired my ipod up to a line driver to bump up the preout voltage then ran it to my 4 channel so now i still have tunes running straight from my ipod and i was able to get a rough layout for my switch panel..
first 2 are my cooling fans 3rd is audio system and the rest are for future

been toying with cutting the rear for a bit... got bored had a spare 20 mins today before easter dinner...not turning back now

also might be picking up a 04 chevy 2500 with the 6.0 for tow pig duties

well the day finally came dun dun dun



the tire mount is just to see where i want it and the angle is temporary to stiffen it up till i can get some tube but have to say i like it.. cant wait to get the 14 bolt under it with links and air shock..all in good time

Thanks man..hopefully getting my tow rig this week..so daily driving will be a minimum so probably lots more to come..need to get some tube and break in the bender.

After a day with the grinder tomorrow both axles will b clean and bracket free still can't get that nut off tho
