Post New Frame

I am re-building a 1947 CJ-2A and was wondering about swapping the frame out for a strogner (possbily boxed) one. I know that the M38-A1 is most likely the best choice, but are there any other (more available) frames that I can use? If so, is there anyone out there that can help me get my hands on one. thank you for all your help.

I was driving around today and I saw a stock 1953 M38A1 just parked at some parking lot...It still had those narrow-ass tires. The body was in great shape also...It could be a project vehicle on its own. If you're interested, I could ask if they're willing to sell it. I live in the San Fernando Valley...Where's Chico?

I immediately had the urge to take it home as soon as I spotted it ...If i have cash I'd buy that thing. I drove by it twice today already.
