you've got to have more than 4" to start with

i suggest that you go to www.ifsja.org with these questions... you'll just get flamed on this board

(hint: check out www.rustysoffroad.com and www.skyjacker.com; call people and ask about suspension lifts)

Get a sawzall, cut fenders. Still not satisfied? Move the outboard leaf spring mounts underneath the frame, that should give you more than four inches. Still not satisfied put a four inch lift on it and have eight inches of lift.

well there are two options first if you go over to rusty's he sells 6" spring lifts... but with a spring lift you are going to get some pretty rough ride and you aren't going to flex too well... the other option is doing a SOA (spring over axle) which will net you about 7 inches of lift. softer ride better flex and if you mess up a spring they are cheaper to replace... but it is going to either take a little welding skill on your part or a little bit of cash to pay someone, I had to pay someone because I don't have a welder.
Also with the rear since its already SOA you will have to gain those 7 inches. You can do what me and many others have done over on the IFSJA.com and do a shackle inversion in the rear using a guy name Todd Grisko's shackle inversion kit for the rear of wag/chero's. This kit will even you out with the SOA in the front. But the best advice I has already been told to you.. GO OVER TO www.IFSJA.org anything you will ever need to know about a Full Size Jeep can be answered there. Good Luck.. check out my signature for a link to pictures of my SOA 83 wag

This would be a great board to ask that question on. http://www.specialtyparts.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl

This board is a better one for asking if anyone has found a spring that lasts longer after doing what you are wanting to do.
