I've had my RE 4.5" lift in since February and I love it! Its a great ride, not too soft, not too hard...the springs are keeping their shape (I wheel ALOT), and if I wasn't going SOA when they finally flatten out, I'd buy 'em again!
The kit is probably the most complete on the market (comes with all the bells and whistles, boomerang shackles and 1" extended front shackles too) and for the price of CDN $1,600. I figure I got a great deal! For those that don't think its high enough, I've put in a 2" body lift and with the added height from the shackles my jeep is lifted 7.5" now....gives me lotsa tire clearance and when my 33"s wear out, I'll be going with 35"s. I would recommend the kit to anyone who asks! MB

I'm runing mine with a +1" daystar lift and +1.25" shackles (which actually only add about 1/2-inch over the ones that come with the kit because those are already slightly longer than stock). I'm running 35s and nothing rubs. No bumpsteer either, but that might be because the caster on a Waggy front axle is different than a stock D30... Jake Harsha Hunt Technologies Pequot Lakes, MN

i would recomend it if you dont wheel much. but other wise go spring over. I has made a big defference in my rig. But it is the best spring under lift on the market.

I wish I could use my 3.5" lift springs with the SOA, BUT with the NV4500 my rear driveshaft is at too steep of and angle so I have to figure out how to get past that first. Anyone have any ideas?

Here is a RE 4.5 lift with a 2' body lift and 35's. I want to spring over on the 4.5 springs but that may be too BIG!!

If you are gonna do the RE extreme duty lift let me suggest an alternative. I just put in a BDS 3 1/2 inch set of springs to replace my RE standard duty 2 1/2in springs. The improvement is very impressive! Not just height but handling is improved as well as durability. The BDS springs have a full military wrap and bolted on clamps (like the RE extreme duty)ride and flex great and cost about half as much. The RE extreme springs cost about $150 EACH compared to the BDS at about $65.that extra half in in the RE kit is shackles anyway which I have as well. You can always add a mild body lift(1 or 2 inches) if you want to clear bigger tires. Look into BDS They are the best bang for the buck in lifts!
