Got some more work done this past weekend. Kenny finished welding up the upper link mounts. Some of its tig and some mig. Dave stopped by and pitched in by grinding off some of the old leaf mounts and prep for welding

Thank god I showed up late, you wouldn't have gotten anything done had I gotten there earlier. Looking good Mark, giddy up!

I finally got some more work done on this. Got the front cage mounts fabbed up. Kenny welded them all up. I spent a lot of time getting everything measured up and it came out dead on.

Got some more done on the rear link setup this weekend. Had a couple pieces of 1/4" bent up for the lower axle mounts. I drilled and cut them accordingly then tacked them to the axle. Kenny finish welded the upper link mounts in place.

Finally figured out my rear frame section and got the saw out. Took longer to resupport the jeep than it did to cut the damn frame.

What's going on with the tub? Good lookin build, it's just missing in one pic, and catch a glimpse of it in another.

The red tube is the original beatass tub that I'm using to mock up stuff. I've chopped it up quite a bit for clearance and measuring etc. The blue one you see on the first page is getting boatsides and an aluminum rear dovetail section. Thanks for the comments guys

doesn't look like much vertical seperation at the rear on the axle side

It's kind of hard to see in those pics, but there is 9" of seperation between the uppers and lowers. I used a tall truss for this reason.

Hey Mark, did you weld the tubes to the pumpkin on the 8.8?

As always, looking good, and top notch fab. Hope you make FC before Sunday morning, this year!!
