'78-79 Ford 60 brake question

Sooo, I've been fighting with the crappy factory Ford caliper mounting system on my front HP 60. I've been searching all over for a fix, and all I'm finding is the 6 bolt-Chevy stuff. What are you guys doing to solve the wedge woes I'm dealing with???

No special bearings or races or anything else like that required.

replace the worn parts = done
the brake system is not a 'ford' thing as the same stuff is used on chevy and dodge

sorry to tell you that caliper guide pins riding on rubber O rings is no improvement
you will then be fighting siezed guide pins every couple of years

Swap to 3/4 ton gm.

Using Blackbird brackets.

Problem solved.
