I just want to say thank you for the above pics. I know all that into, but it's really nice to see it together.
And turbo, don't get all twisted up. This is the hardcore section, and the info is already out there. All you have to do is type in leaf springs in the search criteria, and hardcore jeeps in the section. It will pull up more than you care to read. The reason people flame you is bc when you keep starting threads on a subject that's been covered and no one adds useful tech it floods the search pool for those who actually use it.

wich leafs for yj
When I first built my jeep I used stock waggy springs and did a shackle reversal , I use the ruff stuff offset shackles 1/4 and it rides and flexes great but the front sat too low after the winch and front tube was added , then after a couple wheeling trips I swapped them out to the 44044 and it actually flexes better and has a softer ride

89820 is battle mountain nevada. And i think chicago would be to far of a drive for me. Thanks for the interchange list. I was aware of waggy leafs being used. I was mainly looking for other options because my local junk yard sucks.

I don't remember seeing that particular picture, but no doubt you've added a ton of info on the subject. I never inferred he drew it it, simply saying thank you. I forgot the internet is serious business

I had the wrong zip in there there. The information is still close to you, and I would make the drive. It just depends on what the springs are worth to you. You can have a set shiped for about $70, or drive a couple hours to CA for less then that.
