Hmmm, We Can't Find that Page...

The page you're looking for might have been moved or deleted. Or, perhaps the Web address is misspelled?

Ideas to help you find what you're looking for:
Try refreshing the page (click Refresh or Reload on your browser).
Check the address for spelling and punctuation errors.
Go to MSN Groups Home and look around from there.

I am looking at your bumper, and your jeep, thinking to my self “not too bad”, but that was before I took a closer look at your web address with the words MINIHUMMER in it. It kind of gave me that sick feeling in my stomach to think that some one would call their jeep a mini hummer . But nice bumper.

GoatFish , it's just a thing that was initially for laughs, and thats what i set the site up as, as far as i've built the jeep, i know that ir's more capable then a hummer!

Keith, to each his own, to me it's practical, not a jungle gym, it's got fender and rad protection..... all i need, at a price i like!

Serious about the nice job. Sarcastic about the more pics though. I saw all the others.
That thing should protect your rad if you roll that beaut. Looks kinda like a TBT. If I was to make one it'd look just like that. I'd paint mine all wrinkle black though.

Interesting design. A little lighter than I like, but damn sure practical.

Thumbs up

clean, simple, pactical, nice work. just when I thought that the tube design has been overplayed, there yours comes by and redefines good ingenuity at a budget. (except for the bender, of course)

Sharp, I really like it but I do not see too much fender or rad protection. If you tag an obstacle with the left or right outer bumper ends I think they will fold...right back into your fenders. In a rollover what is going to prevent the rad hoop from collapsing into the grill/hood. I may be wrong but I think you could now bend up some reinforcements as in triangulation or something to tie back into a solid support, all the mounting seems to be low and in the center and in one primary area...the front frame ends. What material did you make the bumper out of? Again, I am not picking your design apart, I just think you need to use the bender some more and make some tie-ins...good work though!!

cj8scrambld, i used .120 wall DOM and the winch plate is 1/4" plate.
it is pretty soild, and will work for my type of wheeling out here there aren't too many rocky areas, but there are dirt and mud walls that i could rub up against, i thought of adding gussets to the rad hoop, but i also didn't want a jungle gym on the front of my heep. if i do hit anything hard enough to bend any part of the bumper, i think the fender will be the least of my probs...
