Do you have any pics showing how you re-routed that around your passenger side upper arm?
I haven't got that far yet. I was going to see where I could route it after I am done.

Truss ?

I pm'd you the following question, but not sure you received the PM.

I have a '94 Ford Dana 60 front axle I am trying to truss. I bought an Artec Ford 85-91.5 Dana 60 Front Truss since they don't manufacture one for 91.5 and beyond model year…least as far as I could tell.

I found that I had to grind off about a 1/4" thick strip of the weldment between the drivers side "C" and the tube in order to get the truss to fit.

Can you tell me what year Dana 60 you have and if you had to do any grinding for fitment purposes?

My HP Dana 60 is an 85 and I didn't grind anything. Artec had my year.

Damn all that work and you sold it? What was the hangup with just finishing the Jeep? It was getting so close. I have been working on my build, same color and same setup as you but on 43's with 114" WB since February. Haven't even considered selling it as it's getting close now. I was hoping to get to page 10 of the thread and see it damn near completed.

Yeah - I had a 3rd kid and didn't have time. I put countless man hours into it, but just didn't have the time. End result I bought something completed.

Have you got to take it out and test her yet? I like it and I am excited to see what you got planned for it.

Haven't taken her out yet. I drove it on the street from Vancouver Washington to Cornelius Oregon like an idiot. Full hydro on the freeway with a high volume pump and no speed reduction is complete madness, but I wanted it and didn't have trailer. I made it, but had to clean my shorts out when I got home. The steering wheel never moved more than a little over an inch either way on the freeway. I am going to keep the military theme and change it to Us Army instead of USMC since I was in the Army. I also just joined the 4 Wheel to Heal group to help out disabled Veterans. The site is 4 Wheel to Heal
So far I have replaced all the wires feeding the KC lights and found the noise coming from the tranny. The torque converter bolts were loose. I think she is ready for a shake down run. Oct 17th I am trying to get to Tillamook State Forest for a run. Oct 24th is the Halloween run I plan on making.

Taken the new TJ out 3 times. I finally broke something. I nuked the driver front axle shaft. Going to snag some RCV's and see if that holds up.
