37" Tires on YJ
I am considering purchasing a new set of 37" MTRs for my '89 YJ. I currently have a set of (4) 10" rims and a set of (5) 8" rims. Not sure which one I should use.
Any suggestions and reasons? Thanks!

i would use the 8" rims- they will buldge the tire more at the bead and protect the bead more from rocks. i run 7" rims with my 35's and have not busted a bead yet and wheel hard in rocks all day long.
also the 10" rims will spread the tire out more and you will loose height- not sure how much but you could experiment and mount a tire on an 8" and 10" rim and check out the results. |

if youre planning on wheeling in it and not just driving it around, i would run the 8'', the 10'' will be easier to pop off the bead. unless there beadlocks then either will work. oh and nice choice with the MTR's, those tires rock
