When you build a custom rig that will see road miles what do you do for an alignment?

Do you take it to a shop or do you just set the toe-in at 1/8" or less and go with it?

If you do just the 1/8" thing, is it the same for all vehicles?

I adjust the toe on mine and it sees the street every day.

I will NEVER pay to have an alignment done.
