Diesel TJ at EJS?

Did anyone catch the diesel TJ that was in the vendors area at EJS this week? It looks pretty slick (using the Euro 4 cylinder diesel out of the Cherokee). I just cannot remember who the conversion company is. Anyone, anyone?

Does anyone know of a US source for these diesel engines? I remember seeing them for sale via ebay sometime last year, but cannot dig up the info.

I saw it, but didn't pay attention to who did the conversion. It was pretty sweet though.

It's a 4 cylinder, a 2.8 I believe. I think the 5 cylinder was a 2.7 in grand cherokees. I'm not sure though, it's hard to keep all those Euro diesels straight because they tended to use a mix Renault, Chrysler, and Benz diesels through the year.

This types of Diesel was used in the years:

Renault 2.1 L Turbo for XJ >>> too small, no HP, big shit !

VM 2.5 L Turbo for XJ, ZJ >>> not very durable

Chrysler 2.5 and 2.8 CRD Diesel for WJ and KJ >>> ???

Benz 2.7 DIesel for WJ >>> Benz Diesel always good.

Why don't you use a "5,9L Cummins-Turbodiesel" in a TJ, its available in the US and enough HP, proven and durable ...

I think, this would be the right choice !

5.9 Cummins = Very Heavy. But you would look cool. Just like a drag racer with the nose down and the rear in the air.

But why Diesel in the Country of V8s !!!! Or is the thinking changing in the US, no more galons wasting V8s to gas saving diesel with 4 cyls.

Okay Diesel have good torque by low engine ratations, but I think my SB has it also. And its much more fun.
