better brakes
I am hoping for a strait forward low cost solution to better brakes on my 1986 CJ, 258. I have stock axles and do not have a power booster. It is a DD. Sitting on 33"s with a manual 4 speed.
I searched and saw lots of pieces of answers but couldnt really put it all together. What I am shooting for is..... 1. Capability of locking 35"s at 40 mph 2. Keeping my proportiong valve (not a high priority) 3. Keeping my stock drums and discs 4. Not needing to change my air cleaner setup 5. Doing it cheap I know I am asking alot about a subject that has been tossed around quite a bit here but any help would be aprerciated. Can any one tell me specifically what I need? Can it be easily done? I am just an average guy trying to learn how to do my own work on my heep. Thanks, Woodeye
