springpad-springpad width of cherokeee/waggy?

im gonna be putting in a cherokee front(60 1/2") and would like to know what everyones measured these axles at, center of spriingpad-center of springpad. ill be outboarding my shackle and spring mounts on my cj7, so i need to know this width

Do what I'm doin'. Buy the axle first. If you end up with something a little weird sitting before you in the garage it would be good to find out before you break out the welder and start burnin' metal. Lotsa luck, if you find any good tips or methods be sure to post 'em.

assuming thtas a narrow track chero front ( it should be at 62")
then its the same as a wagoneer front end, which is the same as what im doing, here is a pic of my spring hanger on a 77CJ5 frame.

the spring hanger's inner edge is within 1/32 of the fames outer edge. on MINE its a 76 wagoneer front end

32" rings a bell. ~48" between upper ball joints on the narrow 44.
