Do you have the 258 then or a V-8 ?

How close is the end of your water pump pulley to the fans ?

Thanks

Looks sweet.

If you can can you measure the diameter of the motors ?

I'm worried that the one on the right might be into my idler pulley.

Thanks

Here are the dimensions..

http://www.carolinarodshop.com/11dual.htm

Motors are right at 4.5" in diameter and are spaced right at 12" apart center to center..

Good Luck, they work GREAT!!

Tony,

While this won't answer your question about the SPAL fans, here are some pictures of my F-A-L #575 fan.

The clearance between the idler and fan is 3/4", between water pump and center of fan assembly is 1". The package is 2-5/8" thick at the motors. I don't think the 4-1/4" thick SPAL would work for me, there isn't enough room to slide it for clearance.

Just curious, but from the looks of it you are sourcing these from parts vehicles? Or are they aftermarket, I need to get a dual fan setup for my rig as I want to be able to shut it off for water crossings. Thanks,
