TBI4.3L vs TBI350
TBI to save wiring hassle and cost
Going into a ~4,000 lb CJ7, 1-ton axles, SM420-->D300 4:1 Kinda would like the power of the 350, but what about the weight difference? Either will have more power than the wussy 4.2L I'm ripping out eh? Looking for subjective opinions... -J

With a 4.3 you will have less power and will be less opt to break things (if you have a lead foot). I have a TBI 350 and love it. I just have to be carefull where I am before stomping the throttle. When your jeep is around 4000 pounds would saving an extra 100 - 125 lbs. make a real difference. They are both really good engines. If you were going light I would say use the 4.3 but since you heavy to begin with I would say go with the 350.
