after having my hard doors stolen I came up with a cheap idea to help deter dumbasses. the pic is self explanitory. think it will hold?

No need to fear Keith... at least not for the DOORS....

word on the street is that he ain't got no rig to put the doors ON...

Now if you hear the chains on the doors jingle and the ENGINE start, you might want to see if he's sporting some new junk...

Tuffy makes an actual lock to hold the doors on for like $20, and it doesn't jingle down the road.

Admittedly a torx bit will remove their lock, or a dremel tool could disable it, but it's still better than nothing.

go to your local bike shop and get a "seat leash".

its a piece of coated aircraft cable with sweet little eyes on each end. from what i recall, they are reasonable, look nice, and strong. hell, walmart and kmart may even carry them now with the new Mongoose bikes they sell.
