flipped 300 behind t999? adapter needed?
dumb question, yes i know. do you need an adapter to put the flipped 300 back there. i remmeber reading an article saying it will fit behidn the ax15 and nvsomething something without an adapter. what about us auto tranny pussy's.

what vehicle did you get the tf999 out of? if you got it out of an AMC product, then it should have the 6 bolt pattern and the D300 will be a direct bolt up, no adapters necessary

If your using the down east kit no you dont need and adater. They use a modified input bearing in the 300 so it will fit all 23 spline tranny with the round NP bolt pattern (ie ax-15, nv3500,aw-4,tf999). If you are putting just a plain old 300 behind a AW-4 or ax-15 you need a spacer, nv3500 needs the output shaft milled/ground down 1/8" or a spacer, and the tf999 needs nothing.
