He said the plan is to have a cage for front of rig and then one behind hard top so you can take the hard top off easily. Kinda like a scrambler halftop

Is he able to recline the seat at all?
I only ask because AEV's roof for the Brute is longer (at least visually it looks longer) and it allow the seat to be reclines two notches. Just curious. r@m |

Why didnt he fab a removable bulkhead, ie the CJ8? Seems like it would be a better idea. Probably easier to put it, minus the huge ass rear section of that top. Also would allow a better point to store cargo against. Fiberglass is tough, but I would want some steel in there. Especially if you had heavy chit back there. I loose highlift would smash that top to pieces.

I bet you would sell the hell out of those. I assume they would work on the unlimited model too---I bet that would be really popular. The guys that are into hunting around here do that a lot on the CJ/YJs. They take the Scrambler halfcab and bulkhead and put it on the CJ/YJ and use an early cj5 roll cage.

Looking at that again, it does appear to be two peices, with a lower bulkhead. I'd like that lower peice to be metal. pretty cool!

I think the Scrambler half cab could be made to fit on a TJ pretty easy. The YJ and CJ top are almlsta perfect fit for a TJ... The half scrambler tops go around pretty cheap, in the $200-300 range used, or even less.
