Need Help Asap!!!!

92 4L 6 cyl motor. new started all fuses are still perfect. getting no power to starter i guess. I turn the key to the on position and every comes on as normal then turn to crank and I get nothing. no sounds no click, nothing. any ideas? please help

ummm,did ya take the starter off to go and get it checked to see if it is good?

I put a brand new starter on it tonight and still nothing

which grounds do i check for? the ground to the block is good and battery is good, what other ones should i check?

The ignition tumbler could be crap or the rod to the start boxcame off.

make sure the wires connected to the starter are on tight, and if its check the battery cables for corrosion. If that stuff checks out ok, and you still aren't getting any action out of the starter, then pull the starter, and return it for a new one. Ive have one starter that was bad as soon as I got it, out of the box.

check the starter solenoid where it screws to the fire wall, if it gets corroded there, it will affect your starting. also, try and short across the starter and see if it cranks, if it does, the problem is up stream
