The adapter needed to connect the TH-350 to the Dana 20 will clock it enough to clear the tranny?

what we did is order a adapter from rube adapters,

the end two pieces one ont the th-350 and one on the dana-20
are welded to a pipe in the middle all we did was ground the weld down rotated the transfer-case to the flat spot and re-welded the two back in to one piece.

I will post pictures soon

I have clocked an early bronco 20. Same idea. I just took a new gasket, rotated it until I was happy with the clocking of it, center punched the holes and drilled the holes out so I could tap them for 3/8". Then I ran a tap down through, and ran 3/8" socket headed capscrews from the back side with some silicone on them and used them as studs. This was done to strengthen the area where it was drilled through because the casting is going to be thinner in the new area. It worked for a 4-5 months before I blew up the 5.0 in my TJ, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be as strong as original.

I did this same thing too. It's held up for 3 years now.

Nutter and I built a clocking plate that fits between the transmission and factory Jeep adaptor on a TH400. Allowed me to clock my D18 flat.

Clocking Transfer Cases

I contacted a company call Rube Adapter (559) 299-5736 about clocking up the transfer case in my jeep. And being that their adapters are all steel, that allowed them to ship me the adapter with the transmission plate not welded. I bolted the plate to my transmission, position my transfer case where I wanted it, mark it, and I took it to a local welding shop who welded the plate to the adapter for $35.
I have been running it for 6 months with no problems AT ALL!!!!!
Check out there website. The guy makes an adapter for everything.
If he doesn't have what you want/need listed, odds are he can make it.

LilRocky,
I apologize if I hit a nerve. Apparently you have some personal problem with Rube Adapter. Don't accuse me of anything just because you can't accept the fact that there are people out there that prefer to let other people know when a company does right by the customer insted of whining about how a company did them wrong.
I was just letting people know that Rube Adapter made me a product and that it worked GREAT!! If that is a problem, go ahead and report what ever you want!

I can't have a problem w/ a product I don't know.
There is a problem w/ someone hawkin' shiat on here without a yellow star.
I'd be a bit more than surprised if you're not personally involved w/ this company, or at the very least, a shill for them.
WTF, join up & on your first day start one thread, and dig up another four month old corpse just to go on..and on...and on about a product?
You're just a little too big-eyed and babbling to be a real bona-fide consumer. (Or a real human being, for that matter.)

...Oh, yeah.... and is it a mere coincidence that you're named after a product sold on that site.... or do you just really, really, really like their stuff?

On the other hand, if you are for real.... well, gosh, I guess I goofed... But in that case, you oughta go outside and get some fresh air and sunshine... see some of the world... You've been hangin' out with yourself too long....

I clocked my Bronco 20 to almost flat in my Wrangler with a T-18. Homemade adapter. Beware though, the driveshaft now hits the clutch fork.
