Question 231 to 241: different input shaft length problem

I am swapping NP231 for a NVG241OR. The input shaft on the 241 is shorter than the one on the 231. What are my options to fix this?

NP231

NVG241OR

Do a bit more research, but this might work for you:

It is made by TeraFlex here is what they say about it:

"A simple extension is used to position the seal of the automatic transmission properly against the transfer case. This kit may be ordered separately as needed. For YJ and TJ 3-speed automatics. Part# 621 "

thanks Chris, I knew I've seen a different seal solution awhile back, but forgot who makes/sells it. I'll give them a call.
