Flopped it again:) Pics

Flopped the Jeep again. This time on a trail called Kelly Flats. You CO guys are going to make fun of me, but hear me out. I am the president of the CSU 4x4 club, and this was our second trip of the semester. There were 12 Jeeps (about 25 people) compared to 3 for the last trip. I flopped on the "chutes." I had already made it up the obstacle twice with ease, so I dediced (with plenty of encouragement from the other peopel) to take a line where I might flop it (I had already found a place where it would be safe). So I figured what better way to keep people interested than flopping for them

The only problem was that my seatbelt didn't hold me in very well, and I fell out mid-flop. By some act of God, the windshield frame and rear quarter panel landed on the high point of two rocks.......otherwise I might have been crushed. Not to worry, harnesses are on the way. I dislocated my elbow, and cut/bruised my back. We flipped it back over and ran the rest of the trail. Anyway, here are some pics.... I know, not too hardcore, but I figured you guys would get a kick out of them.

^^ Just before the flop, a nice little wheelstand. Wally, I hope you're proud

^^ Aftermath

^^ Flipping it back over

^^ Resting on the rock after being flipped back over. My friend had to drive it off the rock so I could help keep the Jeep from going over again.

^^ The Jeep sleeping

Wow that sounds positive. And who are you to Judge what happened. Didn't you hear him say his seatbelt didn't catch? Could it be that your just a web wheeler and don't even have an off road vehicle, but you rubbed two sticks together and found out how to get internet access just so you could play judge Dred on some one who is pushing the limit. I say thanks for the pics and the free experience on what could happen. See you on the trail!

i'd never try to flip my shit on purpose. too many danger factors involved. taking a new line can be fun but just make sure you're prepared for what might happen. good pics and keep the club participation up.

You hit it right on KK . I'm saying with all of the negatives that are hitting our sport today (land use, trail closure etc.) for many different reasons we don't need idiots out there thinking "oh, I've got a cage. I'm gonna be hardcore and roll my shit on purpose. I'll be fine." and somebody getting killed. I'm no expert but I've been on my lid and over in my rig a bunch. Rolls can hurt plain and simple. Its stupid to go roll off a rock to "keep people interested." Go learn how to drive and pull some sick lines...believe me people will watch.

ps that hollister roll was sick.

Dude.... sell your Jeep and get a H2, it's a perfect match for you.

Or better yet, come on out to SoCal and run the Hammers. I want you to keep me intrested by flopping your junk on purpose.

OlBlueCJ7: The club is for anyone associated with CSU (students, faculity, etc), you're more than welcome to join. Send me your email address and I will add you to the club's mailing list. I send out an email before all meetings and trail runs.

To all of you who have said thank you for the pics, and not getting your panties in a wad, I appreciate it.

To all of you who piss and moan about every post someone has, I only have a couple things to say. I could care less what you say, I have wheeled many hard trails and know that I am a good driver (NO, I am not saying I am the best driver in the world, I still have things to learn. Don't get your panties in a wad again). Before I even attempted the line, Myself and my passenger walked the line to make sure it was safe if we flopped it. I was not necessairly planning on flopping it, but I knew (based on the line) that it was possible. You weren't there, you don't know the situation so STFU.

First of all- didn't know I had to be invited to spin around the post. Second, don't know who he is. Third, it was an observation made of webwheelers like you that I made the comment on.

You are obviously a complete fukkstick. With nothing better to do than toole around the site ripping on people for no reason other than you are into playing retard online. I come here very rarely....but when I do it's always childish sh!t like this that I end up weeding through. Half the threads on this site consist of nothing but a bashfest of words. How bout meeting up w/ some people and actually wheeling your junk?

Yeah, I have 30some posts cuz I spend more time in my rig than typing crap online. You'll find it's better to lurk and read than reply, for the most part.....because of wet behind the ears teabaggin pillow biters such as you.

G'day. And try retyping your crap so it at least reads correctly, sister.

it looks like you tried to wheel of an evil knievel wedge ramp, you know the kind designed to put you into a barrel roll only way to slow to complete your barrel roll. you made it about 90 degrees that time! try going faster!

That woulda been a sick roll, if I could have seen it. Why do women freak out like that. Like screaming like a banshee is really gonna help .
