dana 300/np231 doubler

well ive seen the crawlbox, but im not really wantin to cut up a transfercase. so i was wondering if there was a way to bolt the np231 and dana 300 up together to form a double without doin it? length isnt that big of a deal so i know itll be long, just wondering if its possible?

If length isn't an issue and you want a second t case you can put a divorced np205 behind the 231 with a short intermediate shaft, its not what I would consider an ideal setup by any means (the front driveshaft becomes obnoxiously long and hangs up on everything) but it does work and provides a reasonably strong doubler.
