waggy axle shaft question
looking around the web this evening i found this site
http://www.teamgrandwagoneer.com/par...ain/index.html 3 items up from the bottom they show front axle u-joints, and they have circle clips. everything i have read says that you have to upgrade to cromo shafts to run full circle clips, so am i missing something or is this website simply wrong? can you run full circle clip u-joints with the stock waggy shafts? Mark

I believe those clips are the stock ones for most dana front axles....they are a "C" clip only part circle. If someone is refering to full circle clips I believe they are the ones on the outer part of the u-joint. But Maybe someone has the right or better answer

janster, i have stock waggy shafts, and im still running 297 joints. the local 4x4 shop offers 760 joints with full circle clips, and im kinda wondering if its worth it just to get the shafts machined to use the full circle clips. most d44's ive seen break are because the caps backed out (and yes mine are tack welded but ive seen the welds break and spit the caps).
