Here ya go, d44 up front locked 4:46, rear 9' full spoll, RE 4.5 springs and a 2' body lift. Just a few weeks left before Cinco on the Con (Strong sucks). Still waiting on my rockstomper tie rod and drag link, shocks and drive lines. Also added t-18 and d-20 with tera low kit to the 258. I will be just around 90:1. Cant wait!!
I will definatly let you know. I have heard good things about Rockstomper, but we will see.
I think I will wait and see how it is on rocks before the traction bar, but you both may be correct. Thanks
Front: out of a 72 K5 blazer. 44-5F 1/2" thick tubes. All new dana shafts
with new 5-760X joints. Spare stock shafts with 260X joints. 4:56 gears
with
new carrier and lockright. Flat top knuckles with only passenger side
drilled with 1" stepped arm from Extreme Off Road, new ball joints. New
Warn
Premium hubs and a set of drive flanges. 5 lug, new axle seals and
bearings.
Rear: out of a 86 2wd F150 9" Big bearing 31 spline. 66" wide new full
spool, 4:56 gears and bearings.
What did the axles come out of and what is the width. I can get a chevy 44 front but I thought it would be too wide. If it will look like yours that would be cool.
looks great man...kinda similar to my setup...i havnt decided on a traction bar yet, so tell me how yours goes. What springs are you using? hwo stiff are your springs?
Ya I figured since I had the springs and the Jeep already had the body lift why not see. I will test it out and make the necessary moods for the lift. The body lift will be cake to take out. It is dam big now!!
Thanks Matt!! :flipoff2:  :flipoff2:
The best part of this whole build up is the cost. Including the Jeep with everything you see cost me under 3 grand
The key to this build up was patience and being able to collect parts over time. Then slap it all together!
I have measured this thing and it is 69" It is approximately 3" wider than the rear and it is 66". I know that the 8 lug outers make it a little wider but who knows?????????
Tell me more about the waggy 2.5"ers. Are they the same size as the YJ length and width? how many springs in the pack? How are they holding up? I have Raunchos 2.5 and they are Fawked up. Twisted and sagging. Thanks for the info in advance.
Yeah, I would love to answer all of your questions but the last 2 or 3 waggy threads just killed me. i had more PM's and e-mails than I needed. Do a search on extended wheel base and waggy springs. Any useful and some unuseful information is all on those threads.
