Does anyone here, that lives in western PA (Pittsburgh) have a jeep with the Motorcraft 2100 carb? Reason I'm asking is that I'm doing this swap as well as re-wiring my Jeep. I'd really like to take a look at a woking set up and
take a few digital pictures to help me with mine.
Feel free to pass on my email address buss_p@yahoo.com to anyone eles
This carb came with a ball (ball and socket) that was bolted on it somewhere.
I relocated it and you can see where the stock CJ throttle rod attaches to it.
IIf you have a stock MC2100 in front of you, you will probably see what else I did to the likage...truthfully I can't remeber what I did to it.
Ahh its coming back to me now...there are two parts to the linkage, the shiny silver piece that you can see is a scre that I used to jam the two parts in the positions that they are relative to one another.
It has been run along time like this, and i want to weld the two linkage pieces together...but the whole gasoline near a weld just scares me...so I'll do it when they come apart.
