Steering shaft on my 89 is wobbly to say the least, could spend the money on a Borgeson(sp?) or Flaming River but it's going to take a few months to pick up that many pop cans to buy one. Is there another shaft out of a different vehicle that is heavier or built better where the splines will match up on the steering gear side? If it's too long that's fine because I can cut it down, just need the ends to match up.
well im assuming if its wobbly the u-joints in your current steering shaft ar shot. Im pretty sure you can just get new u-joints and it would be back to new. I have a Borg and it works awesome just alot of unecessary money...
I looked quick and didn't look rebuildable at all, so called the stealership and they don't sell a kit for it so I'm assuming it's not. I'd like to get somehing I can rebuild too.
