Q for those of you with Howell TBI on 258

What did you to hook up the manifold heater switch? The instructions says that there is a blue wire to the right of the battery that goes to the manifold relay and is to be connected to a switched hot, but there's nothing there and there's not a blue wire connected to the relay.

There is a fat red wire that is a constant hot and a small red wire with a white stripe that my volt meter (POS) overloads and won't read when the ignition is on.

Any help would be appreciated!

I didn't on mine. I had a one barrell carb and had to swap manifolds so I added one of those newer ones with the heater. Because of that my Jeep didn't have the wiring for the heater and never hooked it up. You don't need it.
