#1, the hinge is pimp also. Similiar to the one on my XJ tube doors

Both are offensive. Go with out doors. The tube doors aren't going to protect shiat, they are inside the bodywork, and if you roll your legs could still flop through the openings

where does inner bar contact the knee in either door? I would place that bar where it contacts a thick fleshy part of the thigh. if it bangs your knee "or elbow" at all you will hate it after the first trail run.

+1 I would make sure the door hight and bar were both comfortable .

I say skin them with anything and either design will work... Sheetmetal/aluminum really won't matter then
