Help with 4wd probs!
Hi everyone! New to the forum but have a tech question. My freind wants to sell me his 1989 Jeep XJ, cherokee. It has a weird thing happen when you put it into 4hi or low. in hi it surges a little when you give it throttle, and clunks if you give it to much. In lo it clunks like it is slipping, sounds like the clunking is comming from the T case or that area. If you don;t get on it at all, or turn sharp it goes fine till you have to get on it a little. Whats up with it? Bad T case? Solonoid? Mounts???
It hasnt been thrashed at all, it is in great shape so whats the deal? Please email me if you can with any help. sniperx@netscape.com Thanks |
