STaK Monster 3 speed TC
Any opinions on the STaK Monster 3 speed TC, 5.44?
Reliability, installation, ease of use etc... I have a YJ 4.0 and would be hooking it up to an AX-15. Thanks, as always. |

I've had mine on for about 6 months now, mated to an 32RE(?) auto and has been flawless. You should expect to tinker with the linkage adjustment a bunch to get it the way you want. Much easier to have two people to install, but I did it myself with a lift and and alot of elbow grease. The more I use it, the easier it is becoming to shift; the gears do bind and have required me to go forward and reverse to get out of low range. But this is becoming less of a problem the more it's used. Also, keep in mind that you're going to need new drive shafts.

I put mine in a CJ, generally the same impression as HVAC...love the gear choices, it works smooth, the shifting was tight at first but is fine now. Check my sig for the build page.
