I'm assuming you mean the trans computer or TCM?
From my 94 ZJ FSM: 'The TCM is located on the driver side of the dash adjacent to the steering column. The module and harness connector are accessible from udner the instrument panel.'

Yah Tony, I did mean to say TCM. Gotta stop doing those fourth-beer posts!
I had the entire dash apart this afternoon and have not yet found the little bugger...is it possible I have a mid-year brain change? Apparently the 96 and up ZJs integrated the TCM in the ECU. I'm pretty sure my mfg date is Jun/Jul of 95. Anyone with a 95 ZJ FSM whom can shed some light? Many thanks, Markus |

If you have an OBD2 (look under dash by brake pedal) diagnostic port, it's in the PCM and your ZJ is a '96.
