4 Link dana 60 Questions

Couple of questions noone can seem to answer:

Poison Spyder says to use 1 1/2" stud 1/2x20 fine thread on their steering arms (dana 60), anyone know of a good place to get these? BTF has 2 1/2" ones, and most other companies don't list their lengths. Or anyone know of a grade 9 stud in that size? Also, they say to torque the arm down to 80 ft/lbs, I've heard its 800 ft/lbs, is that a misprint? 80 seems a little light for steering knuckles.

Also, on a double triangulated 4 link, 40* seems to be a good minimum for locating the axle, will that be the same for single triangulated 4 link, or would it need a sharper angle since it only hasd 2 links doing the work?

Lastly, does anyone have the measurements from the inside of the frame across to the inside of the frame on a TJ? I'm trying to figure out measurements for an XMemeber, but it's hard to do it in Iraq. (I think it's shorter in the front, but I don't know when it gets wider) Thanks!

Depends on how thick the steering arms are. Mine are CRANE and they are 1" thick. I use 4.5 9/16 fine thread grade 8 bolts to go all the way deep into the knuckle.

It is 80 lbs of torque.

The rest I dont know. Happy blasting

McMaster-Carr sells those bolts, that's where I got mine for that arm.

the 800 you are thinking about is the torque on the Kingpin...
