i installed an hei distributor, but i am getting a weak spark. The color of the spark is orange, but i think it is supposed to be white or blue, anyone with any ideas?

Not sure about this, because I am starting to mess with my own HEI setup...

Did you remove the ballast resistor? I believe they need to be removed from the system for HEI to work properly.
