Mine will be getting some revised axles here in the next few months.
I am going to be putting a LP D60 in the rear and moving my Tera CRD60 to the front.

I'll keep you posted. This is not going to be as fast a build due to funds but it'll get done. The plan is to run the SpiderTrax Ultimate 60's knuckles in front & then Solid Full Floater kit in the rear. The rear axle that was given me has a spun tube in it. I am going to get it narrowed to 60" from 67". Then I have to decide if I want an ARB or a Detroit in the rear. Going to stay with 5.13 gears and I just had the one for the CRD Heat Treated & Cryo'd by Bobby Long. I'll get the gears for the rear axle treated too. I am going to have to fab up a bracket for the Nth Degree Stinger. Should be fun but not an issue.

After reading everyone of those threads, I couldn't find any ideas as to how to get rid of all that crap that sits behind the tail light on the passenger side. I have scoured the net looking for someones directions as to how to relocate the stuff when putting on comp corners to no avail. I need to cut open my wheel wells in the back because my 36" Iroks are rubbing the back of the opening. I also plan to add a fuel cell like the others and move the axle back here in another month or two and I'd like to go ahead and get rid of all that stuff now if it can be done. As of now, I have that whole mess out of there and capped off the open tubes and taped over the electrical plug that went to there and I am showing a check engine light. What do I need to do? Thanks.

Pretty easy fix, you need to hook everything back up tpo get rid of your check engine light. And since you have figured out how to take that stuff out then relocating it to your engine compartment shoud be a piece of cake. What is all that stuff? Charcol canister & leak pump if I remember right.

I guess I will go down to the Autozone and some stuff and move it all. I just wasn't sure if I could just take it all out or not. We dont have to go thru emissions checks here in Indiana.

Well if you want to make the ENGINE to run right and keep your fuel milage then you need this stuff. Has nothing to do with if you have emissions where you live. This isn't the 70's where you can just take crap off because you want to. And you need to do some more searching because there are people who have talked about relocating this stuff when doing a comp cut.

Ya know, I was thinking about it today, but that's a lot of digging! I just may do it though. We have some pretty good builds for the YJ's.

Well since my pile is in this thread along with other jeeps that are not TJ's is there really a point to have a thread on YJ's?

The only reason I've included some YJs in this thread is the suspension - which is what the basic difference is between a YJ and a TJ. A linked suspension is much more complicated than leafs. So, if the YJ had a linked setup, I included it. If you guys want to make this the TJ and YJ Ultimate thread, that's fine with me, I'll put in the links. Like I've said before, this thread is to help, so whatever the need is, let's meet it.
