When you guys are calling out 63" Chevy springs, what years and models are you using for a doner? I may try running a set on my low buck pre runner. Right now I'm running stock early 90's F-150 springs.

Thanks,

It is, worked for stopping the vehicle. And in case you were wondering, it's not being pulled/stretched in that pic.

Ya, it's a 1980 chevy 1-ton single wheel, d60, 14 bolt, 350,th400, 203-205, locked front and rear, full hydro steering with 38.5 boggers. I had to take 40 inches out of the frame to make it fit. I use to wheel it as a pickup but decided I wanted a more narrow body, and the jeep body was free, so that what I put on it.

Thanks,
They come in any newer body style GM trucks, try 01 to present. i got mine out of a 05 2500hd, wanted them for a little better towing in my 85 fullsize.

I believe the 2500 are 4 leaf packs with and over load and the 1500s are 2 or 3 leaves with an overload.

A few of my dads rig.
Started as a 93 YJ,stretched to bobbed Scrambler dimensions, RE reverse eye SOA on front and rear 44s, spool front, detroit rear and chromos. Engine and transmission out of a V8 Grand Cherokee mated to a 4:1, twin-sticked D300 with 32 spline outputs all on 36 inch SXs with other doodads here and there.

why aren't there any tj's in this thread?

yeah it's mine. and yeah it's got leafs at all 4 corners, and yeah it way outperforms my short arm links, and finally yes it was way less costly than doing a 4 link on full width axles.
