Chevy 350 Headers

Hey guys,

I have a 1969 CJ5 and i have a Chevy 350 motor in it. I am looking for somebody that makes headers for it that run inside the frame rails.

I know somebody makes them I just don't know which company or which ones the cool kids run.

It's mostly a sand jeep.

thanks,
Iggy

350 / s-10 block hugger headers worked mint in mine. Got some ceramic coated ones off ebay for cheap.

Well…..first of all, you might want to move to the non-hardcore section for this post.

As for your question…..the sbc is a fairly common motor, transplanting one in to a jeep is a fairly common thing to do, so there should be a lot of info out there on what header to run.
Here are a few companies to start with, Advanced Adapters, Doug Thorley, JBA, Hooker, Hedmen, Patriot, Summit, Jegs, Speedway, Flow Tec and last but not least Edelbrock. Good luck.

I run Advanced Adapters s-10 block hugger.

Sorry, when i started it, i thought i was in non-hardcore. I have something similar to those block huggers now. I guess i was referring to the full length tube headers where the collector is much farther down close to the frame rail.

do you know which ones i'm talking about?

I use the Dough Thorey's, but that was for my 401 for the collector at the bottom of the frame rail try them first. The Advanced Adapters s-10 are not bock huggers in the true since of the word. Go to their wedsite and type in 717052 or 717052 and you will see what I am talking about, you will have to weld on the flange's.
