did your buddy come into the shop and ask steve already? i remember someone like 2 weeks ago coming in and asking what they are worth and parts availability. ill let steve chime in cuz i dont remember much from the last week
Check the American Jeepster Club Classifieds to find out ballpark prices. $3500 is pretty typical for a stock Jeepster in good condition. The Classifies are a pretty good source for parts too.
The Bulletin Board is another good source of parts and info. Several people on the BBS also manufacture replaciment parts like 'glass tailgates, replacement floor panels, rocker panels, etc.
The parts he's going to find a hard time getting are sheetmetal, interior, etc. except tail light lenses A semi inside joke check my old ads in JP The mechanical parts are no problem.
The values are pretty right on. They aren't worth much $$$ but they have a cool factor. You are not going to be able to pull your $ out of a resto when done, unlike a cherry Scrambler.
