i have a 1978 cj7 304 t150 dana 20. i want to swap in a np435
with 6xx gears. will a np 208 bolt up without adapters? i know my dana 20 will work ,with 450 bucks with adapters from novak.
what do guys think?
I've seen a 208 behind a np435 before in a junkyard, but the 208 had slip yokes at both ends.
I think the wagoneer version has a regular yoke at the ends, but I think its got a smaller inputshaft. you could probably mix and match parts to get a 208 that will bolt up to the ford thats got fixed yokes
I've got a 435 with a 208 behind it. It's in my 83 F250. I know the front output is on the wrong side, but maybe you could use the adapter.
