trying a BL on a buddys 91 YJ and a bolt snapped all the way up in there, 3/4 of the bolt came out and there is only a bit left in there...
will an easy out work?
what can we do to get the remaining bolts out with out breaking them.
thanks.
Very common problem, If the bolt just broke off in the nutsert and the nutsert has not stripped out inside the body you can drill it out and put an easy out in it and possibly back it out, I would start soaking it in liquid wrench now. If it does not come out what I had to do several times was to take a cut off wheel cut two sides peal the body back remove the nutsert and weld in another nut with large washer to the body and then bend it back in place and weld what I had cut out. There are only a couple of the body mounts that you can get the the backside of the others you have to cut them out..
I am glad I am not the only one who gets fawked everytime I pick up a wrench.
