I seem to remember somthing about a bolt on bar for the rear of the XJ to relocate the shock mounts. My stock bolt holes have pulled through the floor and I am looking for somthing simple to do to fix it.
Could save yourself a chunk of $$$ and just use BPE to remount the shocks. What works really slick are the sway bar brackets from the rear that were mounted on the leaf spring pads. If you haven't removed your sway bar you should and use these.
Fawk bolting them in, weld 'em. That's how I did mine and they haven't pulled out. If you've got a mig, then it's just your time and some wire/gas to fix it. Otherwise blow your money on something you don't need.
Well unless someone else makes somthing sheaper, I will be making my own, using the stock one is out of the question, it is barly hanging there and all craked.
