ex2234l tre application?
trying to find the application for the ex2234l tie rod end so i can buy it local. non of the parts stores can cross reference it for some reason. i can get them from poly performance or parts mike but then i have to pay expedited shipping charges cross country to get'em quick.
i've searched the web and pirate with amazingly few hits. Last edited by B4Wbuggy; 09-28-2009 at 08:06 AM. |

that would be because the ex2234l is the wrong part number if your looking for a chevy 7/8 one ton tie rod end try the ES2234R you'll get a lot more results. if you want just a regular jeep tierod search just 2234. go to your favorite auto parts store website and type that part number in and get what your looking for. by searching sometimes you have to play with what the name is your looking for. you can't just type in ex2234l 15 times on google and then 15 times on pirate with no results and say you couldn't find any thing
![]() EDIT: also went to poly's website and looked at the list look at the ex2234l and the es2234r specs. exactly the same. should've been an inclination to search for an es2234r.

thanks for the lesson in basic internet search theory and applying common sense to looking up part numbers
![]() the part i'm looking for IS ex2234l not es2234l or r, which would indicate a right hand thread, which i already have, which is why i'm not searching for it

since your interweb skills are so good heres the the link of my first search on google for an ES2234L. (since its the same as the ES2234R except for threading)
http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showt...php?p=10247966 looks like you want an ES2010L or ES453L both found on autozones website in 30 seconds. your welcome ![]() EDIT: and also if you were in such desperate need (weekend run etc.) you could have gotten away with an es2234r temporary just would have been a pain in the ass to adjust.

seeing as you were so vague not to mention whether or not you already had tierods built for your jeep or if you were in the process of building one i see no reason you couldn't have maybe had a right hand threaded bung to use. and btw it was my interweb skills that found what your stupid ass couldn't find in the first place you should be thanking me asshat and btw im good at screwing left right up down front back and side to side
