anyone else seen a shaft break like this:
this is the first time running on this shaft. but this is also the first time running with a detroit in the D44. BTW: this is a dana 44 with a full detroit and stock shafts.
any way my question is does this look like a defective shaft. it almost looks like I cut the shaft it is such a clean break.
just wanted to get other opinions.
BTW: someone with a CJ (40ish" tires) came by and after talking to him realised he was on POR too, but I didn't catch his name. anyone want to admit to it.
here is the IMproper way to lift a vehicle:
*notice the other jeep "steadying" the jacked up jeep? hi-lift are just really unstable at this height especially in mudd.
