Ok asking that on here could get you banned. lol.

As for axles If you want D44s then look for a 80s Jeep Grand waggy.
And if you want D60s then Ford 78-79 f250/350 front D60 would be best but you can run a 80s D60 to. Just stay with king pins if you run a 60.

Now quick take this info and run before the wolfs find you.

flip the axle... You choice of axles all determinds what your going to be doing with the rig, tire size, power..44's or a 60's are likely the most common..if u run across a ball joint 60 at a good price i wouldn't hesitate to purchase. The whole kingpin vs balljoint arguments have become ridiculous. both are great axles

Yes indeed, get that cheap GM unit and flip the axle so the pumpkin's on the correct side- and high pinion to boot!, but keep the camera handy and post the pics for us.

FWIW- ask your non-hardcore questions in the "non-hardcore" forum... welcome to PBB.

As stated above, both the KP and BJ (haha, bj) 60's are just fine. I have found quite a few axles on craigslist for super cheap.

Go ahead and flip it. The brackets will be on the bottom, but you also get a hi pinion (more ground clearance).

If your looking for something to easily bolt into the front of your YJ, look for a leaf spring Dana 44 or 60 out of a 78/79 Ford pickup. The pumpkin will be high pinion drivers drop, and you don't have to do any modding to the spring perches to get it to bolt in.
