i have a similar setup as you
Bilstein and don't look back. Previously I paid little to no attention on shock quality... just got the cheapest. (rancho, pro-comp, trailmaster, etc.) Night and day performance when I went with the higher quality shock. Last edited by thump93yj; 12-21-2009 at 12:41 PM. |

Well that’s cool
5150’s seem the have a good vote? Another vote was the FRO shocks that are rebuildable. Any thought? $150 a corner. I am trying to redo this suspension very low and stable. Small up travel lots of drop. 4 and 10 maybe?? That ok out of the front. And than later back half the jeep and run air shocks. That’s my thoughts. I just stretched the front 3 inch's by re-dilling my leaf pack. Adding an extra leaf and redoing my shackles. Running 101wheel base. Last time in Moab I had tons of front wheel hope. I want to eliminate that. And have a jeep that can take a little air with out shaking itself apart.

To get rid of the wheel hop I would build a front traction bar.
