Max HP out of a 4.0 stroker?
I am throwing around ideas about a new power-plant in my jeep (LSX, 4.7 stoker, turbo….). My question is. How much HP can you get out of a 4.0 stroker naturally aspirated with all the bells and whistles? I am talking about headwork, roller rockers, 93 octane… Now I have seen the JP/505 article about 600 HP but motor would not work for me on the trail so don’t go there.

I just built one that ramped up over 300 with no head porting, and no roller rockers.

I'm going to say a safe and reliable 350HP is more than possible with head work, roller top end as a bonus, increased compression, right cam, meticulous blueprinting, etc.

*edit* and file-to-fit rings, and perfect bores, and and and....
