Well a little clearance issue. Actually more like a 44" clearance issue. Lol
Looks like I need to shorten up the upper mounts to bring the shock a little closer to the frame. There's about 2-3 more inches of up-travel before the shock bottoms out or the tire touches the fender well. So hopefully a little bracket modification will do the trick.

Some modified upper brackets and it looks like everything clears good at full stuff and full lock.

Lol yeah. With tiny wheels and tires it might roll in and out. But it's close. And thanks!

I don't know if it is just the photos, but each one showing the wheel at full lock makes it look like the top of the tyre is tilting in a lot?

Thanks all!
Yes the tire is tilting in a lot but only because I have the other (passenger) side of the axle dropped all the way to the limit of the shock. So the suspension is at full flex and full turn. At ride height everything sits nice and straight like it should : )

This is badass. Just subscribed. To bad they don't make a lighter version of that cab like a glass one or aluminium...or do they. Thing is rare around here as I have yet to see one in person. Keep it up and finish it. Maybe ill see it up here at cow mtn someday.

Well, after a little break, I'm back at it. Got the rear tacked in place. Gotta make the bar that goes across and connects the top of each hoop. Then I'll cycle the rear to make sure there are no clearance issues and should be good to burn them in and throw the springs on.

Lol yeah, I'm dying to start this thing up!
Got the crossbar tacked to the rear shock loops. Flex tested the rear axle, only issue is at full articulation (one wheel stuffed to full compression and the other dropped to full droop) the top of the tire on the compressed side touches the frame. I guess I'll just have to limit the travel a little with limiting straps. Which I was going to do anyways. I think I'll only lose an inch of shock travel. But there's more than enough already.

It finally happened, it's finally sitting on springs!
She's sitting about 6-8" taller than ride height. There's a lot of weight that needs to be added still (obviously). Now maybe I can roll it around and open my garage door for the first time in months!

Thanks a lot guys. I'm pretty excited to move forward. A few more pay checks and the parts are gonna start rolling in.
Fuel cell, seats, steering, radiator and plumbing, hoses, wires are all in the near future. As well as some time on the tube bender for a bed and cage! Thanks again for all the support and comments! It's a huge motivator!

Congrats on getting it to this stage. Big milestone and got to the same point the end of last year with mine too, so know how you feel.
