tubs/bodys built from tubing
The tub is rusted thru so I'm gonna start tearing apart my 80 CJ-5. I'm not really interested in buying a new tub just to beat the hell out of it. I'm gonna build something out of tubing. I,m just looking for ideas on a design. Pics would be appreciated. I've heard that this is the hard core Jeep site so lets see some hard core rigs.
Thanks |

Dan what are you going to do with the suspension? Do you want to drive it up here in the winter or are you looking to make a buggy. We don't have a lot of real tough stuff in the area yet, so a fully tubed buggy doesn't make a lot of sense where it is below zero in the winter. You could search for these users, they have their cages tied into their frames, and more tubing for protection.
Search: H8Monday Spaceghost nasvik sceep There are more. Ben

Hey Poppy, oops, Pottsy
Looks good, bout time someone got crazy with tube but kept some of the jeep look. Dan, search for Twisted customs jeep buggy, or Cambell enterprises early buggys, both did tube and skin jeep bodys. Pottsy, wanna sell me those rims? I've been lookin for a set. Ken
